Huffhines Tennis Center

The Huffhines Tennis center is a 10-court lighted facility located in the southeast corner of Huffhines Park. It operates seven days a week from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Fees are $2.00 per person for 1 1/2 hours. Court reservations may be made by calling 972-744-7870 one day in advance. Preference is given to residents when there are numerous scheduling requests. A fully stocked pro shop is available, including racket stringing facilities. Tennis lessons, leagues, and tournaments are available through the Center. Please call Shawn Foster, our tennis professional, for schedules and registration.

 In addition to the Huffhines Tennis Center, there are 22 tennis courts located in parks throughout the city. Most of these courts are lighted for night play. The courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lighted courts are located in the following parks: Heights, Cottonwood, Mimosa, Woodland, Custer, Terrace and Mark Twain. There are non-lighted courts at Canyon Creek, Richland and Yale parks.
At lighted courts, the lights can be activated between dusk and 10:30 p.m. with a push button on the courts. Report broken lights by calling 972-744-4300.
